We do not expect everyone to agree with everyone else, this is not a commune operating within a utopia. With over 100 properties within Wheatsheaf Court, there will be differences of opinion, disagreements and potentially conflicting stances – as well there should be, we shouldn’t all agree with everything else there would be no need for a Resident’s Association. Sometimes thing are said in the heat of the moment after a stressful day, sometimes a joke is misunderstood, sometimes cultural norms may cause communication difficulties.. When there is need, a representative of the Residents Association can be requested as an arbiter, rather than allowing a situation to escalate.
However, acts of verbal or physical aggression will not be tolerated. Whether within this site, the various WhatsApp groups or even face to face, a level of respect is not only expected – it will be enforced. Any threats, name-calling, unfounded accusations or such behaviour will investigated by the representatives of the Residents Association, and may result in either a temporary or permanent exclusion from the free services that we provide.
If you feel that you have been attacked, please take a screenshot of the situation, or any details as needs be, and contact an administrator privately. The other party may be given opportunity to address the situation via arbitration, or anonymity may also be offered. Anu judgement made will take all factors into consideration.
This extends to acts towards other residents, visitor, externally engaged 3rd parties or administrators of the Residents Association.
